Tile Floors Built to Last
Tile is one of the toughest floors you can put in a house. Porcelain and ceramic tile shrug off water, mud, pets and Texas heat, which makes them a natural fit for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and entryways.
A tile floor is only as good as what is under it. We check the slab or subfloor first, flatten the low spots and lay out the tile so the cuts land where you will not notice them. Then it is set, grouted and cleaned before we walk it with you.

What's Included in Every Tile Job
Free measure
We measure, look at what is under your current floor and help you choose the tile size and layout.
Tear-out & haul-away
Old carpet, vinyl or tile comes up and leaves with us. Old tile is heavier work, so it is spelled out in the quote.
Floor prep
We clean and flatten the slab or subfloor so the tile sits flat and does not crack.
Layout
We plan the layout so full tiles land where you look and the cuts hide at the edges.
Set & grout
Tile set level and even, then grouted once the setting material has cured.
Cleanup & walkthrough
We clean the haze off the tile and walk the finished floor with you.
How We Price Tile
Tile is quoted per project. Tile size, the pattern, what has to come out first and how much the floor needs to be flattened all move the price — so we measure first and put everything in writing before we start.

Porcelain or ceramic — which is better?
Both work well on floors. Porcelain is denser and absorbs less water, so it is the tougher choice for busy areas and anywhere wet. Ceramic usually costs less and is fine for most bathrooms and laundry rooms. We will help you choose at the measure.
Is tile better than vinyl plank?
Tile lasts longer and handles water and heat best, but it costs more, takes longer to install, and is harder and colder underfoot. Waterproof vinyl plank gets you most of the water resistance for less. Many homes use tile in the bathrooms and vinyl plank everywhere else.
Can you remove my old tile?
Yes. Old tile comes up, the floor is cleaned and flattened, and the debris leaves with us. Tile removal is heavier work than pulling carpet, so it is listed in your written quote before we start.
How long does a tile floor take?
Longer than a plank floor. The tile is set first and grouted after the setting material cures, so a bathroom or kitchen usually takes a few days. We give you the schedule with your quote.
Other Floors We Install
Plenty of homes mix floors — carpet in the bedrooms, vinyl plank or tile where the water is. We quote it all on one written price.
